Come escape to the wilderness of Exmoor for the first in the Wylde Table series. For 10 days we’re bringing two of the most exciting Chefs in the UK together to put on a celebration of Devon’s stunning ingredients in a food focused escape. Exclusively available for booked in guests there will only be a maximum of 18 guests dining and staying each night.

Our guest chefs will turn some of the most incredible british produce from around the local area into memorable feasts as we reconnect you with the wilderness and where the ingredients come from in a celebration of food.

Allow yourself to be transported to the ultimate foodie getaway where you can spend your day exploring the wilderness of Exmoor before each evening settling down alongside other like minded people to enjoy a feast celebrating incredible local ingredients from the land and sea around the house.

Duredon Farm an award winning designed house nestled in the centre of Exmoor, 8 miles from the sea surrounded by valleys, rivers, and moors it is the epitome of tranquility and is the ultimate destination to rest, relax and unwind.

Event Format

Day 1

From 4pm - Arrive at the event and check in to your room
6pm - Evening drinks around the fire or basking in the evening sun
7.30pm - The first dinner begins - A three course meal cooked by our guest chefs with paired wines

Day 2

7am - Morning pilates for anyone interested
8:30am - 10am - Breakfast is served by the Wylde team

Get stuck into local activities and enjoy the wilderness.

4pm - Tea and cakes
6pm Evening drinks
7.30pm - The final feast - a four-course meal by our guest chefs with paired wines

CHEFS

9th - 13th August: Kate Austen

Kate has just become the first ever female chef to win the hugely coveted main course at the Great British menu in the 19 year history of the competition.

Prior to this she was the youngest female head chef of two Michelin star restaurant AOC in Copenhagen before going on to work at three Michelin starred restaurant Frantzen in Sweden.

Expect stunningly curated dishes, packed with flavour like nothing you’ve had before. A huge rising star of the industry and not one to be missed!

CHEFS

14th - 18th August: PADDY WILLIAMS

It all started in Cape Town's famed two Michelin star La Colombe, where Paddy honed his craft for five years.

London then called, and Paddy answered, working under chef Robin Gill at The Manor, Clapham, and later at Paradise Garage in Bethnal Green.

In January 2018, his culinary dreams took shape with Kudu in Peckham, earning rapid acclaim and a coveted Michelin Bib Gourmand within six months. The duo's vision expanded with Curious Kudu, a private dining gem, and Kudu Grill, a fiery homage to South African braai BBQ.

Fast forward to June 2023, and the group has grown to four restaurants pushing out bold and incredible flavours. With Chef Patrick at the helm and South African-born Head Chef, Chace Wagenhauser, by his side, the Kudu Collective continues to redefine London's dining scene, one mouthwatering dish at a time

  • You select from an incredible nine beautifully designed bedrooms across the main house and in the stables.

  • The event is an exclusive event for 18 people every two days that is fully immersive. It’s a two day celebration of incredible food surrounded by stunning architecture and wilderness. For this reason the event is only available to those that book accommodation with us.

  • Not quite, while we treat you to outstanding meals from our chefs each night and then a breakfast in the mornings, we do not provide lunch. You can opt to take away a picnic lunch as an optional extra as you explore the local area.

  • The ticket price is for two people that includes your room and breakfast for the duration, and when it comes to eating we’re here to take you on a food journey so all food from amuse-bouches, canapes and the feasts are included. The only food not included is lunch, which we’d highly recommend some local pubs or a picnic made by the team.

    Wylde experiences include pilates each morning for those that fancy it. Each morning there is breakfast to set you up for the day. When you return there will be tea and cakes awaiting you to recharge before the evening.

    Drinks outside the pairings at dinner, and any country pursuits extras are not included in the booking price but can be booked separately.

  • Guests are welcome to arrive from 4pm where we will have a drink awaiting you. Check out is on the morning of the third day by 11am.

  • Wylde Table is for over 18s only.

  • There will be Wylde Table events throughout 2024 and beyond. To be the first to know about future events and ticket releases, make sure you are signed up to our mailing list in the footer of our website and follow us on Instagram.

  • Due to the nature of our events, we are unable to offer refunds. However, you are welcome to transfer your tickets to someone else. Please contact us at least 24 hours before the event with the new guest’s name and information. Otherwise, they are welcome to use your name when checking in.

  • Unfortunately the rooms are not suitable for bringing pets and the nature of the event means sadly we can’t look after them in the public rooms.
